Snow?!?! Seriously....

So what’s with this snow all of a sudden. I feel like last year Northern Virginia we got like four inches all winter. But this year we’ve gotten about 23 inches in December and then just in January we got around seven inches. It’s only the fifth of February and we’re getting another snow storm. This one is expecting around two feet [at least] to four feet. I don’t ever remember getting that much in one season ever. I don’t doubt that it happened in time but I’m pretty sure I haven’t been alive for it.

So my friend Jim and I were talking about it recently and I gave an opinion saying it may be from global warming but, he totally disagreed. He says global warming doesn’t exist, or that it’s dying down or something. I don’t really understand. He says he has facts, like the fact that they take temperatures at 2,000 feet below sea level and those temperatures aren’t as warm as it used to be. But I kind of think that because of the extreme temperatures in the summer, the weather is like this now. I’m not a genius though so I probably have no idea what I’m talking about. I don’t know. So what do you think? Is this snow storm stuff because of global warming? Or is it because Mother Nature really wants us to have snow for four months? I wonder what summer will be like. Will it be severely hot or cool? Who knows? I guess we’ll find out.

I’m just really tired of the snow. Why do we have to see white all the time? It is fun every once and awhile, but c’mon. This isn’t really that much fun anymore. The only good thing now is getting out of classes. That’s always a plus. And the huge snowball fight on the drillfield was a blast. But other than that, I’m sick of it. I’m also tired of hearing about my highschool getting cancelled from the snow more times than when I was there. We maybe got out once or twice last year. They’re already at like 6, and it just turned February. Just stop already.
